About James & Karen

Pastor James Mayes, a seasoned Senior Pastor and successful businessman, channels God's inspiration to uplift and empower Christians in realizing their divine gifts and destinies. His vision extends to seeing the Body of Christ prosper in health and spirit, fostering a community of Overcomers through accurate guidance from the Holy Spirit. With an Associate's Degree in Business and a thriving background in entrepreneurship, including the ownership of The Custom House Tailor Shop, Pastor James brings both spiritual insight and real-world experience to his ministry.


Complementing Pastor James's leadership, Karen Mayes, the Associate Senior Pastor, possesses a deep passion for intercession and teaching effective prayer. Her heart's desire is to nurture an intimate relationship between believers and their Heavenly Father, guiding them to flow with the Holy Spirit in a profound and transformative manner. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Music Minor, Karen's journey includes serving as a missionary evangelist and international speaker, and she was ordained as a minister in 1990 with Rhema Ministries Association International.


Together, James and Karen held miraculous evangelistic crusades throughout Guatemala, Central America, and Mexico, impacting hundreds of thousands of lives with salvation and healing. They are proud graduates of Bethel International Pastoral Training Center, ordained as Pastors in 1996, and have ministered globally, offering Church Growth Seminars and pioneering the New Hope Healing Rooms.
