About Irene
Irene Sangeetha Martin believes that her intimacy with Jesus is the fundamental purpose of her life. Her intimate encounters with the Lord increased by meditating on the Word of God, which drew her into His presence even deeper. Her desire to know Jesus and follow His lead has been her main focus throughout her spiritual journey.
Born in a Christian family, she saw her parents live their lives wholly surrendered to the Lord, and this prompted her to prioritize her relationship with Jesus above everything else. She desires to see families, both parents and children, become partners in serving the Lord together.
Irene always had the burden of sharing God with those around her, and her journey and experience as a Registered Nurse at the Christian Medical College and Hospital India equipped her spiritually and professionally. During a vacation with her parents in Bahrain, she embraced the call of God on her life at the Haggai Ministries International.
Her desire to study the Word of God grew, which led her to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. Her passion is to see the younger generation walk confidently in their God-given destiny and know they can hear God’s voice and follow Him confidently. She realized that for this to occur, the children must be in an atmosphere where they can experience, encounter, and understand God’s good, pure, and holy character.
Irene’s focus on bringing transformation to families started in her home with her husband and three beautiful children. Together, they practice pursuing the heart of God and hearing His voice daily.
Irene holds a Life Coach Certification and continues to lead, support, mentor, and coach women as they encounter God while uplifting and encouraging one another in their faith. She serves in her church as a worship leader and preaches God’s word. She is also involved in a Christian non-profit organization that helps women grow in faith to be a source of strength to their families.
She enjoys the outdoors and loves spending time with her children. She loves reading and baking and is always looking for a healthy brownie recipe.
Irene desires to share the heart of God whenever she gets the chance, comes from her life verse found in Acts 17:28, “In him we live and move and have our being.” So, whether at a restaurant, vacationing, or grocery store, she seizes the opportunity to invite a stranger into the knowledge of the kindness and goodness of God.
